Good Friday Feast

Well I am now feeling much better and am able to focus on my blog ( I know the millions of you reading have been suffering with the small blogging that I have been doing recently). Here is a picture of the BObbi Bear that I made for Julia's 1st....it went over really well.....I had to tie the ribbon around the neck because I wasnt too pleased with how the neck turned out.

Here is Julia on her birthday...her tights are so adorable. NOte all of the toys around... that was before opening all the gifts.

Now onto the highlight of the week....GOOD FRIDAY FEAST. We had fish dinner at my mom's house. THere were about 25 people there and there was tons of food. I will post pics of the event at a later date.... once I have fully recovered from the overeating extravaganza.

H-E-L-P

Here is the Bobbi Bear that I am working on. I works up really quickly but I am having a really hard time getting it right. I have to redo the whole head over because I did something weird with the stitch markers and I have somehow knit the head on crooked. HELP me please .....if anyone reading this has made one of these bears I am in desperate need of some help figuring out the instrunctions so that I can get the head on right.

I am no longer concerned with the pointy feet...I have bigger fish to fry with this damn thing. It has to be done before March 13th. I know that is sounds like March 13th is a long time away but as we all know it comes up quickly and it really sucks to be knitting at the last minute and to give a gift where a stray piece of wool can pop out at any given time and the whole stupid thing can unravel.....again I am tending to be a bit overly dramatic but I feel it is warranted in this instance.

I think Im going to take the girls for a walk. They get along so much better when they are walking together. Last night they spent about 1/2 hour peacefully ... I thought I had died and gone to heaven.

Sri and the girls

I am so pleased to announce that Ruby and Quinci are getting along SO MUCH better. Here is Sri with both girls under his arms in their winter coats. I was getting so depressed thinking that they would be fighting for the rest of their lives....(I know that is a little dramatic) and then suddenly they really slowed down the - to the death fighting.

Here are the legs and bottom of the Bobbi bEAR that I am knitting for Julia's first birthday...it seems to me that there are a lot of gaps in the knitting because there is a lot of picking up stitches and I am not really good at that. I really hope that the feet are less pointy one it is stuffed... I gag when I look at the legs now. I'm hoping to get it done by the weekend.... then I can finish Rick's other sock just in time for his birthday.

I am ebay addicted and I am also Jean Greenhowe addicted. I have ordered 3 Jean Greenhowe knitted toy patterns off of ebay this weekend. I am hoping they are delivered soon because I want to make some little chicks for Easter (for who...I dont know).
